May 14 – October 4 2015
Der Sturm was a radical cultural magazine and a gallery in Berlin during the first decades of the 20th century. As founder, the German composer and writer Herwarth Walden has a central role to play in Der Sturm’s history as has his Swedish born wife Neil Roslund Walden.
The exhibition Nell Walden and Der Sturm presents new research on her central role in German expressionism. Some 80 of her own abstract works are exhibited.
