Renaissance fashion in paper
A collection of hand painted paper dresses inspired by the most powerful family of the renaissance, the Medici family in Firenze. The dresses are designed and made by the Belgian artist Isabelle de Borchgrave

This summer exhibition Superbruden (Superbroad) features Kristina Abelli Elander’s entire oeuvre from the 1970s to today. Gallery 3 is transformed into an inviting, dazzling fantasy world, with coloured lanterns, wall paintings, figures, drawings and comic strips. Meet Prinsessan Panik (Princess Panic) and other alter-egoes in Kristina Abelli Elander’s magical world.

Christina Abelli Elander belongs to the rebellious 70s generationen who released the super broad and set colous free. The contrasting colours pink and turquoise, purple and emerald green, chocolate brown and orange violated both the conservative tone on tone painting and premodern denomination painting. The released color is joined by fabric, needle and thread
